testing and analyzing products, developing IT systems to support and report
customer satisfaction metrics, facilitating problem solving activities, and
managing quality systems. Strengths include understanding manufacturing
and business processes; using Six-Sigma/Shainin/8D/5-Why techniques; and
developing IT systems that accurately and efficiently evaluate and report
the status of those processes.

Professional Experience
Delphi Corporation/General Motors Corporation
Customer Satisfaction Data Analyst (2004-present - Detroit, MI)
Primary customer satisfaction data analyst for Delphi Thermal and Interior
(later Delphi Thermal) integrating data from over 150 global sites into a
comprehensive database that served as the source of all customer
satisfaction metrics for the division including reporting of metrics to
divisional executive staff as well as to corporate headquarters.
Key Achievements:
. Improved reporting efficiency by adapting databases to new
organization allowing for a significant reduction in manpower - from a
team of four down to one person for monitoring and reporting metrics.
. Improved quality, accuracy and timeliness of reporting by expanding
scope of database to all global sites.
. Incorporated customer data from their own systems resulting in more
consistent and more accurate reporting of customer metrics.
. Served as divisional representative on corporate Steering Committee
overseeing a web-based problem reporting and corporate "Look Across"
system.
. Established process to review all manufacturing site responses to
customers using 3-Legged/5-Why process resulting in better root cause
analysis, a reduction in repeat issues, and a better analysis of
quality trends.
Systems Reliability Engineer (1992-2004 - Lockport, NY)
Responsible for providing reliability input into product and system design
teams including the facilitation of Failure Modes and Effects Analyses
(FMEAs). Responsible for tracking and reporting customer metrics including
assembly plant complaints and warranty.
Key Achievements:
. Spearheaded the implementation of system-level Design Failure Modes
and Effects Analyses (DFMEAs) for automotive air-conditioning systems
resulting in improved first-run capability.
. Facilitated Process Failure Modes and Effects Analyses (PFMEAs) for
new products and processes resulting in reduced scrap and re-operation
from the first day of production.
. Developed Microsoft Access-based systems to monitor and report
customer assembly plant data that streamlined reporting and are still
in use today.
. Developed an algorithm within Microsoft Excel to project early
warranty data into one-year and three-year time periods for automotive
air-conditioning systems.
Systems Engineer (1987-1992 - Lockport, NY)
Responsible for coordinating customer application of air-conditioning
compressors to new vehicle programs with a focus on improved performance
and durability and reduction in noise.
Key Achievements:
. Coordinated customers' requirements with the development of new
products to meet those demands, retaining threatened business for the
corporation.
. Organized vehicle test programs which provided an objective
environment for engineers to evaluate current products, future
innovations, and competitive vehicles.
