****-****: Staffing Specialist. Responsible for providing temporary
employees for large service companies who serviced national retailers. Was
responsible for recruiting, interviewing, hiring/terminating, and managing
temporary employees of the company on a daily basis.
2005-2006: Account Manager. Was promoted to the position of Account
Manager and was responsible for supervising 3 Staffing Specialists and a
Staffing Assistant in the day-to-day staffing of all SE retail staffing
needs of our customers. Was responsible for all daily contact and updates
to our customer base. Managed orders as they were received from our
customers in a timely manner. Was also responsible for recruiting,
hiring, and training new Staffing Specialists for the company.
2006-2008: National Staffing Manager. Was promoted to the position of
National Staffing Manager and was responsible for supervision of all
Staffing Specialists and support personnel for the services we provided
nationwide. This position required heavy customer contact in establishing
and maintaining strong business partnerships, daily supervision of all
staffing/recruiting services and procedures, heavy customer interaction,
hiring/terminating and all training requirements of internal staff.

1987-1990: Staffing Specialist/Placement Coordinator. Responsible for the
recruiting, screening, interviewing, hiring and placement of both temporary
and full-time job candidates. Maintained all contact with an assigned
customer base where communications were crucial in keeping customers
staffed to the levels that met their requirements. Assisted customers
seeking full-time employees by offering them the option of our upfront fee-
paid placement program or our temp-to-hire program. For permanent
placement openings, was responsible for recruiting, interviewing, and
resume preparation in order to schedule interviews with our customers. Was
also assigned to manage two of the largest accounts for our company,
Westhinghouse - Savnnah River, and Plant Vogtle Nuclear Facility. These
accounts individually employed up to 200 people on any given week that I
was responsible for maintaining and handling their temporary staffing
requirements.
1991-1998: Manager, Office Services Division/Training Manager: Was
promoted to Manager of the Office Services Division of the company. Was
responsible for managing the division of 3 Staffing Specialists, 1
Placement Coordinator/Recruiter, 2 Support Specialists, 2 Front Desk
Receptionists, and one Part Time Interviewer. Was the key contact for all
clerical customers in assisting them with their temporary or full-time
staffing needs.
As Training Manager, created the company's training manual on processes and
procedures and assisted with the development a training program that
addressed all processes and procedures for the company. Also conducted
training for the computer systems as we developed an in-house staffing
database.
1996-2002: ISO Manager. The company started out to achieve an ISO-9001
certification for quality processes/services. This started in 3/95 and we
achieved certification by an outside auditor, QMI, on 11/96. We were the
only independent staffing company that had achieved this level of quality
registration at that time in the country. Had the responsibility for
maintaining and updating all the company processes and procedures in order
to meet quality standards. All employees were responsible for various
levels of quality assurance. This included overseeing a quality audit team
of 10 auditors that conducted quarterly audits and verified processes were
being followed. Was responsible for issuing Corrective/Preventive Actions
for processes not being followed as required. Instructed and assisted
Department/Branch Managers to correct/prevent the issues within a given
timeframe. Served as Lead Auditor to go out with the certification company
for annual surveillance audits to verify our processes and procedures were
in place and being followed in order to maintain our registration.
1999-2000: Customer Service Manager-InstraStaff. In addition to serving
as ISO/Training Manager during this period, also served as an internal
Customer Service Manager for the staffing software that we developed and
used internally. Assisted in-house employees with system issues and wrote
system procedures for on-line and in-house training purposes. Traveled to
staffing conventions and to individual staffing companies to demonstrate
the computer software for those interested in purchasing the program for
their agencies.
1984-1987: John Malmo Advertising. Media Buyer. Was responsible for
buying print and broadcast media spots for several of the agency's larger
accounts, i.e. McDonald's, Conagra Chicken, and Pepsi-Cola. Required heavy
negotiations with all regional television/radio sales representatives,
newspaper/trade publications representatives, as well as national
broadcast media accounts to purchase the maximum amount of media spots
based on the budgets we managed by account. Participated in many of the
agency's sales presentations to pitch new business.
