PROJECT MANAGER I

Overall responsibility for all aspects of small/medium sized laboratory,

classroom and ADA bathroom construction projects. Project budgets vary

from five-thousand to five-hundred thousand. Every project assigned is

unique in nature. University buildings range from the late 1800's to the

present that we renovate. Having completed several projects of this

nature, I am versed with an excellent ability to adapt to unforeseen

project issues and figure the solution. Responsibilities include project

review for scheduling and estimate approval. Perform inspection of

construction activities to ensure conformance with project specifications.

Overseeing in-house trades, subcontractors and/or vendors performing on

each project. Upon project completion, a report is generated explaining

means of success, special methods and materials used for future reference.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT INTERN

Working the final two years of my education allowed for direction to my

current career path. Acting as an intern I was allowed to operate as an

estimator, scheduler and project manager. This allowed me to hone skills

in all three areas, also to know which I excelled at. Constructing

projects in working labs, clean rooms and patient space showed the

importance of cleanliness and staging. Having this time stressed the

extreme importance of communication between all parties involved in the

construction process.
