Consulting

. As 'Acting' CEO/CFO for a prop and set fabrication company:

restructured/reorganized accounting system; brought

delinquent state and Federal tax returns to "current"

status; negotiated payment plans with both State Board of

Equalization and Franchise Tax Board covering delinquent

state use and sales taxes; created sets of cash flow

reports and projections for management use; managed the

negotiation of a settlement agreement and payment plan with

the company's local union.

. Executed A/R collection and reporting consulting

assignments within Finance Divisions at four prominent

Southern California Law Firms over a five-year period (2004-

2008).

. During that period, and using a variety of sophisticated

special-purpose software programs, prepared analytical

financial and statistical reports for Partners, Associates,

Department Heads, and Clients and developed and implemented

collection management/reporting/follow-up processes

resulting in the collection of $52MM of past due/doubtful

receivables.

. Managed the reorganization of a statistical/accounting

department at a major homebuyers' insurance company:

reduced staff by 19%, annual staff turnover from >100% to

<10%, departmental costs by 5%; increased production by

11%.

. Developed and implemented a budget and variance analysis

system for a major classified government project,

successfully re-tracking it prior to go/no-go re-funding

decision.

. For several start-ups and existing small businesses in the

manufacturing and distribution sectors: wrote business

plans; developed sets of financial statements, projections,

and budgets; designed strategic financial and marketing

plans; created prospectuses for use in soliciting support

from financial partners, i.e., banks, equity investors.

Banking - Lending & Consultative Product Sales Management;

Credit Analysis, Management & Administration

. Managed the largest single loan portfolio at a large money-

center bank, comprising $1.5 billion of commitments, of

which approximately 50% was outstanding at all times.

. Managed international credit department; served on London

Loan Committee.

. Conducted training classes for recent college graduate

banking officers in credit and financial statement analysis

of banks and corporations, both domestic and foreign.

. During three-year assignment in London, developed and

managed indigenous and multinational borrowing

relationships denominated in multiple currencies.

Treasury Operations and Cash Management

. Developed and conducted consultative Cash Management

computer-based treasury, accounting, and cash management

systems.

. Produced cash flow projections for use in making funds

collection, disbursement and allocation decisions resulting

in a 6%-10% increase in return-on-investment on average.

. Created credit evaluation and approve/deny decision-making

system which maintained a transaction failure/loss ratio of

<1.0%.

. Developed optimizing cost/efficiency/functionality trade-

off models for use in project management and system design

. Developed risk management evaluation and reporting system

for use with a sophisticated electronic ACH funds transfer

Product Development/Project Management

. Conceived of and managed the development of a significant

functionality enhancement to a remittance-banking product

greatly increasing its utility value to the customer while

increasing department sales by 5.5%.

. Managed a project team in the design, development, test and

installation at two off-shore locations (London and Sydney)

of an automated multi-currency account balance and

transaction reporting system operating in a 24/7 untended

environment. Implementation of these systems resulted in

roughly a $30,000 addition to monthly revenues

. Managed the design, development and testing of an

enhancement to a sophisticated, automated controlled-

disbursement system, providing for its application at

remote operating units without requiring multiple duplicate

installations, saving the customer approximately $15,000

per month in bank fees and charges.

. Prepared and presented product and project cost/benefit

analyses at division, managing committee and board levels

for approval and funding.
