Key procurement official who represents large New York City Agency.
Administers all procurement and most contracting activities of the
Agency from initiation through award and registration with the New
York City Office of the Comptroller. Ensures that all procurements
are completed in accordance with the New York Procurement Policy Board
Rules and applicable Federal and State procurement laws. Supervises
the implementation of procurement requirements, both in regards to
City and internal Agency policy. Provides all necessary reporting to
the Mayor's Office of Contract Services. Manages a staff of
approximately 30 professional and clerical titles including assignment
of work, tracking progress and reviewing final documents before
issuance. Reviews staff performance on a regular basis and monitors
the use of overtime and sick leave to ensure compliance with City
protocols; posts, interviews, and hires staff for vacant positions.
Directs improvements and implementation of the units Contracts
Management Database, and ensures that all management reports are
generated and contains up to date information.

consisted of reviewing and drafting complex contracts, interpreting
the New York City Procurement Policy Board Rules, and assisting in

Minority/Women-owned Business Enterprise utilization, and the quality-
based selection process in consultant procurements. Chief attorney in
