OIL PRODUCTS DISTRIBUTING COMPANY, North Branch, Iraq 1998-

2006

. This state branch is responsible for the distribution of LPG & oil

products produced in the refineries throughout northern Iraq.

Services included - distributing products to the reservoirs, tank

areas, exportation tanks and refueling stations, installation and

maintenance of refueling stations, transportation and tankers.

. As head maintenance engineer, I was responsible for the

installation and maintenance of refueling stations and

distributing equipment including fire & safety program.

. Prepared periodic and monthly reports.

NINEVEH GENERAL TRADING COMPANY, Nineveh, Iraq

1996-1998

. As technical manager of the Nineveh general trading company

division, I was responsible for the petroleum products reservoirs,

pumping stations, maintenance, volume calibration of tanks &

tankers, and laboratory testing.

IRAQI STATE ENTERPRISE, Baiji, Iraq

1995-1996

. As an operations engineer, I was involved in the dewaxing unit

operations in the lube oil complex.

. Specific responsibilities including starting up the unit,

operations, maintaining controlled conditions, purification of

lubricating oils with the addition of chemicals, production &

shutdown.

1983-1995

. As head of water treatment section I was responsible for river

intake water station and pumping; clarification, filtration and

sludge dewatering unit; water demineralization by ion exchange

units; cooling towers unit & system corrosion & scale control;

compressed air production units; nitrogen production unit; natural

and fuel gas pressure reducing and distributing stations; fuel oil

circulating network; and chilled water and air-conditioning units.

IRAQI STATE ENTERPRISE, Qayarah, Iraq

1978-1980

. As a shift engineer at the Qayarah refinery I was involved in all

aspects of the management of the refinery including operations,

maintenance, tank area, and employees. Gained exposure to both day

and night schedules since the refinery works continuous for 24

hours a day. Qayarah is a small asphalt base production refinery

with 4 productions units. It is located 60 kilometers south of

Mosul.
