. From initiation to "go-live", managed a whole technical thread of the

global ERP transformation specifically focused in JD Edwards

8.12/Oracle Fusion/SOA, collaborated side-by-side with the CTO of

Harper Collins, a $1.5B global Book publishing and distribution arm of

News Corporation.

o The functional design was accepted early 2006 with

implementation process go-live in 2008, developed a solution to

address their antiquated Order-To-Cash processes and

infrastructure. Their legacy model was comprised of

disparate/autonomous global operating divisions running highly

customized mainframe systems. The project had four go-lives in

2006-2008 (for U.S., Canada, UK, and Zondervan) with a global

scoping, planning and modeling phase that set the standards to

the regional rollouts.

o Due to project size and complexity, the project scope also

includes developing organizational change management strategies

(Change leadership, Organizational design/role mapping,

communication plan, Training & Knowledge Transfer etc). Change

management and knowledge management phases were defined and

approved by client management sponsors in early 2009.

o The solution provided to the client brought single global

operating model, provided operational efficiencies in the area

of IT, data management, transaction processing, and also greatly

enhances clients' ability to analyze its performance across

multiple divisions and locations thus increased in ROI and

substantial savings.

. "Point-of-Contact" for the technical quality control of multiple

projects including integration approach to and from procurement

system, fulfillment, billing and third party vendors and ware house

systems, OneWorld Xe to JDEdwards 8.0 upgrade, webMethod

Two Interactive a multimillion dollar global developer, marketer,

distributor and publisher of interactive entertainment software games

US & Canada region. The value delivered to client had reduced the time

for fulfillment and provided much needed infrastructure to handle peak

volume transactions in the busy season.

. Led an entire integration thread of an ERP project which includes

complex interfaces (300+) and massive EDI Development (200+) effort

for Homedics Inc, a major distributor and manufacturer of Home Health

care, wellness and relaxation products who wanted to upgrade existing

JD Edward System to a newer version 8.9 and implement new webMethod

middleware real time solution to support their warehouse and

Transportation Management Systems. Additional project accountability

included aligning technical thread progress with overall project plan,

collaborating technical team activities with functional, change

control and other project teams, defining and enforcing technical team

processes and standards. With the new upgraded ERP system together

with middleware implementation, clients' ability to understand the

profitability on a given sale on an item and to a customer level

improved, thus allowing them to make better decisions on product

offering and pricing programs offered to a customer.

. Shepherded technical team through design, build and implementation of

complex integrations to WMS, weigh and dispense systems,

Transportation systems and financial systems for a Cardinal Health a

$91B. Was hired to lead upgrade [11/2002 - 2003] to a JDE middleware

solution XPI (a SOA solution now called "Business Services") to enable

the introduction of the global Implementation of a Single Instance JD

Edwards OneWorld Xe, focused on design of a global model and then

subsequent rollout to 36 sites in four waves. Identified Risk

Management/Mitigation issues and engaged with business stakeholders

and VP management sponsors to shape functional deliverables for Change

Management for Modules implemented included Finance, Procure to Pay,

OTC, Manufacturing, Distribution. First wave sites included four in

US, two in UK, one each in Germany, France and Canada. FDA validation

requirements were integrated into our approach throughout the

lifecycle of the project.
