First Data International is supporting many banks on EMEA region. All

banks in EMEA are supporting IPP feature of VisionPLUS on different file

sets. Each file sets has many clients. New clients will be added on the

file sets. Various enhancements are done on the existing clients.

Following are few details of the same:

. Have done changes to the TRAMS Bankcard reports to include

Client ID for SAMBA bank.

. Has worked on Diners processing for National Bank of Kuwait

(NBK). Did many changes to Diners post-processor to

successfully process Diners transactions including addendums

records as expected.

. Installed AMEX for Lloyds Bank. Done changes to processing of

incoming inclear files, reports and processing of the settlement

transactions through TRAMS.

. Coded a filepath to process new payment files through TRAMS for

LTSB bank.

. Installed TRAMS and ITS subsystems for NBK and Alfalah Banks in

fileset 2. Designed and coded more than 200 JCLs for clients on

Fileset 2.

. One of the key people for implementation of the new clients and

supported Compliance 7.2.

Summary:

First Data Singapore is the processor of Development Bank of Singapore

(DBS) bank for Credit card system. DBS has an aggressive business growth

strategy for unsecured lending and there was a need to streamline and

standardize the existing processes and technology platform so as to achieve

quick time-to-market, service flexibility and low unit cost. The primary

outcome of the program, through VisionPLUS Consolidated Processing System

(CPS) projects is to deliver a robust and scalable process and technology

platform for unsecured lending that provides consistent performance across

the region and can be readily extended to support new countries and

business portfolios. CPS project is being executed by various teams in

FDI/IBM/DBS to merge the existing DBS SG and DBS HK V+ application into a

single source and also to bring the DBS credit card processing platform to

the latest release of V+. This project includes development of taking new

feature of VisonPLUS 8.23 with the existing customized functionality, re-

designing of the existing functionalities, testing, support and

implementation of the same. Following are few details of the same:

. Base upgrade of the DBS Hong Kong V+ source code base to latest

version of VisionPLUS with service-oriented architecture that

facilitates integration with external systems.

. Data Conversion of DBS Hong Kong cards database from V+ 8.09 to

V+ 8.24 version.

. Consolidation of existing two separate VisionPLUS platforms into

a single source with rationalization of existing customizations

for potential replacement by V+ base functionalities and modules

such as Amex, HCS, EMV and LMS

. Re-designed and coded more than 50 TRAMS filepaths using

TRAMS/AG.

. Have done changes to qualification routines to cater various in-

house transactions for both Singapore and Hong Kong on a single

layer code.

. Segmentation of CHTH file: CHTH (Cardholder transaction history

file) contains details of first presentment received from

MasterCard, Visa and AMEX. Changes done to support AMEX

transactions in CHTH and segmented up to 9 files. Changes done

to various ITS functions to handle segmented CHTH files.

. Have mainly worked on ITS & TRAMS issues as part of CPS project.

. Have completely taken ownership of AMEX Setup and its

maintenance. Earlier AMEX was working on ATOS system. AMEX

Transaction processing has taken into VisionPLUS standards using

BASE programs with few customized programs for reports and

acknowledgements. Has designed NAPO600 program to cater up to

10 files.

. Have resolved many issues on ITS & TRAMS and few of them are

o IRD mismatch due to the combined code for Singapore & Hong

business is in the position to provide competitive offers on perceived

value within all segments, and continue to grow the merchant base,

changes to existing business operating systems are required. This

Project has designed to allow merchant business the flexibility to

meet competitor pricing within the market place and pursue a "Bundled

Pricing". Today, the system has been built around a "Bundled Pricing"

where all fees are included into the MSF regardless of the costs of

credit card processing. Following are the related fee changes for the

> License Fee : Automated process of billing of License fee to the

customers. The License Fee will charge automatically at end of month

regardless of whether the License fee field is equal to or greater

than zero and the License Start date is less than or equal to the

> Lost/Stolen Urgent Card Request : The project deals with suppression

of card generation from CTM to third party, when an urgent card has

been issued i.e., a hand embossed plastic created by third party.

The benefits of this change will be operational efficiency gained in

the reduction of manual handling in the NZ Contact Centre and at third

party.

> Theft Prone Postal Code: The project deals with investigation as a

result of cards being mailed out to customers despite customers'

postcodes being theft prone postcodes in Vision Plus. There appeared

to be no consistency as to where cards were sent; while some cards

were sent to branches correctly, as the cardholder lived in a theft

prone area, others were mailed to the customer's address. This was the

case for both re-issue and replacement cards.

Summary:

> This is involved in the transition of the existing TS2 system for the

Japanese market. The "user-view" (Screens and Reports) is being

translated to the Japanese scripts used in business systems (Kanji

Khana). Kanji requires storage in double byte character sets (DBCS).

Therefore, TS2 needs to be support DBCS. Besides making translation

changes by replacing report and screen field labels with their

Japanese equivalent, localization and formatting rules would also need

to be applied to the TS2 system. Screen labels, report labels and

data elements that need to be in Kanji format would need to be

converted to DBCS from single byte storage.
