Programmer/Analyst - Administrator for HP Quality Center (QC) (Feb 2002 -

The software is used to manage all phases of development from requirements
gathering, test case development, test case execution and tracking of
defects. This included supporting all users, performing all software
upgrades and providing training when required.
. Designed and developed a SQL server database to manage requests that
testers submitted to the QC administration team. Designed the web
site map and developed some web pages.
. Improved executive reporting by standardizing the QC schema used by
all testing groups. Facilitated meetings to determine what and where
the information was needed and which fields would be needed for
reporting and how the information would be standardized to improve the
integrity of those reports.
. Developed ad-hoc reports that the Sprint used to quantify the quality
of the code development and QA testing so metrics could be used for
process improvements.
. Developed an enhancement to the HP Excel Marco that reduced loading
time for the Test Plan and Test Lab module by 67%. The enhancement
also reduced the loading time for 4,000 reference entries from over 8
hours to less than 1 hour. Patent 7,761,841, "Enhanced Data Loading
for Test Management Tool", issued on July 20, 2010.
. Gathered the requirements from the Business Analysts to replace the

creating import and export processes. Created the necessary SQL for
inputting and extracting information from the DB2 database.
. Key member of the team that analyzed the information gathered and
created the DB2 database used for storing software and hardware
information from the development groups.
Software Engineer, Mainframe COBOL developer (Apr 1996 - Mar 1998)
Supported payments of commissions to partners, including development and
production support of the application.
