As an Account Manager I placed hundreds of calls a day on an automated

dialer system to individuals who were either late, past due or both on their

Barclay Bank credit card (60+ unique cards) account to collect monies

owed. Skip-searched hundreds of records a day to discover hidden or new

methods of contacting delinquent card holders. Accomplishing both using

multiple computer software products simultaneously all while being

recorded 100% of the time for quality control purposes. As a Relationship

Manager I received 135+ calls a day, on average, from a very

sophisticated, multi-faceted, computer program system to assist and

educate customers with each unique financial question or service

regarding their credit card account. Assisted peer managers and superiors

as necessary especially with providing one-call resolutions to angry

customers whose past staff interactions were felt to be dissatisfactory. I

have, at times, sold bank products/services at a higher rate than anyone

else on my team or department. Have made award winning suggestions for

process improvements.

better and more affordable healthcare coverage. Sold several different

agent for conformation.

Responsible for all areas of fundraising to include vision and plan

creation. Grant writing a successful specialty at an 85% approval rate.

Helped manage volunteers and coordinate multiple special fundraising

events. Managed marketing efforts to include vision, creation,

coordination and placement at different venues across Southern Colorado.

Authored a Development Plan and created an extensive development

approach across all development methods. Interacted with board of

directors on an as needed basis and assisted them with the organization’s

leadership. At times, represented the organization on a regional and

national level.

Teller Country Public Health, Teller County, 2005 – 2006

Program Manager: Steps to a Healthier Teller County

Managed all aspects of this temporary grant program. Managed seven staff

of which three were professional contract personnel. Managed a yearly

budget of $359,000. Led creation of vision, goals and measurable process

monitoring processes for program achievement. Managed marketing

efforts and volunteer involvement. Completed reports to the state health

department. Personally reported community progress to leaders in all three

municipal governments and to the county commissioners. Led meetings of

staff, special interest projects and stakeholders each time with “best ever”

results. Enjoyed a 100% grant approval rate. Represented the program at

both a state and national level. Accomplished major program goals

previous managers failed at.

Blair College/Intellitec Medical Institute, Co. Springs, 2003 – 2005

Medical Department Chair/Academic Program Supervisor

Responsible for 300+ students in three academic programs. Responsible

for 10 instructors on two shifts and weekends. Completed schedule for

everyone. Hired, trained, motivated and fired staff. Taught classes on an as

needed basis and proctored national certification examinations. Counseled

students and staff. Worked closely with admissions and financial aid staff.

Assisted college leadership in meeting organizational goals and provided

management representation during some evenings. Surpassed retention

goals. Managed national data base on local level. Recruited Academic

Board professional members, employers and externship sites to the extent

that the college enjoyed its best results in each of these very important

areas which prospered students, employers and the college.

Teleministry/Dir., President’s Fellowship (Donors giving 1-20k annually)

Managed a team of several development professionals in entry level

telephone financial appeals and mid-level donor financial appeals to

include the cultivation and upgrade processes. Trained and led staff in

meeting all fundraising goals. Traveled across the country making

financial appeals face-to-face after having set the appointment via

telephone conversations. Managed a donor data base of information.

Traveled internationally to continue ministry efforts from 1996 when I led

a team of eight people in teaching a course of morals and ethics to Russian

school teachers from elementary to college level. Mentored Russian

nationals in continuing and expanding the ministry from 1997 – 2005.

Worked with multi-national organizations to accomplish mutual goals.

Telephone Sales Team Leader

Started as an entry level telephone sales representative selling family

oriented videos with a dial to connect with customer setting and

transitioned to mentoring others and helping fine-tune sales presentations

of struggling agents in a computer dialed environment. Met and exceeded

all sales quotas and goals.

The Clean Air Campaign of the Pikes Peak Region, Colorado Front

Range, 1993 – 1994 and again in 2002

Director, Travel Reduction Incentive Program/Director of Development

Created the process and taught local business representatives how to

further teach their employees the art of reducing single vehicle occupancy

commuting. Evaluated the program and made changes as necessary.

Created a host of incentives and marketing techniques to motivate

employees. Wrote a program instruction book that was later sold around

the country and internationally. Recruited business owners to pay to

become part of this voluntary program. Composed reports to local and

state level government officials and worked with businesses that impacted

the program: i.e. City Transit and Bike and Hiking Clubs. As, Director of

Development I managed all fundraising activities to include creating a

grant schedule and development plan. Completed both government and

foundation grant requests up to $1,000,000 in scope and value. Produced

“best ever” results in a Silent Auction event at a crucial time in the

organization’s financial year.

the Hospital Administrator. Earned ten medals in twenty years while

serving during both the Viet Nam and Gulf War eras.
