PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Zachry Industrial, Inc.
Site Superintendent / Radford, VA 8/09 - 2/10
I supervised the construction of an Acid Neutralization Plant at the Army
Ammunition Plant. The job consisted of pouring concrete floors and curbs,
sloped to drain to the stainless steel trenches that we installed to
capture any acid spills/leaks that could occur. I managed a crew of Zachry
employees as well as Pipe, Concrete, Coating, and Electrical subcontractors
during the performance of this project. During this project, I took care
of payroll issues, day-to-day problems, and handled all paperwork
concerning quality documents. Reviewed applicants and interviewed
potential employees along with selecting and approving qualified applicants
for hire. I did all the hiring, dismissal, and reprimands as needed during
the course of this project.
Zachry Industrial, Inc.
Site Superintendent / Durham, NC 2/09 - 8/09
We constructed a series of piers and footings for a 2 story 101,000 square
foot structural steel building and processed waste sump pit at ground level
and poured the second floor after steel was erected. My duties were to
procure necessary tools and equipment to perform the job, review resumes,
interview potential employees along with selecting qualified applicants for
hire, manage the jobsite and the people, and insure the client of a safe
and productive completion of this project.
Zachry Industrial, Inc.
Civil Superintendent / Cope, SC 6/07 - 2/09
Constructed an SCR unit with a new Ammonia Unloading station as well as
installed larger ID fan motors and fans. We demoed and installed new
ductwork to accommodate the SCR and ID fans. I worked with the Project
Manager in the setup of the personnel office, site office complex, early
procurements, scheduling, and coordination. I accepted the role as the
Turnover Coordinator as we progressed through the rollover to the plant
personnel and client representatives. In the absence of the Project
Manager, I completed the demobilization and closeout of the project. I set
up and managed the personnel office for the first two months by taking
applications, guiding potential employees through the hiring process in
addition to evaluating each one for future employment to insure the most
qualified personnel were hired.

Civil Superintendent / Deer Park, TX 6/06 - 5/07
We constructed a Steam Turbine Tabletop, Cooling Tower expansion and
installed 2,000 LF of 30" - 42" cooling water piping. I oversaw the
purchasing of materials and supplies needed to construct this project. I
met weekly with the Engineers to coordinate and discuss problems and design
changes as well as schedule updates or changes. I coordinated with
subcontractors on auger cast piles, bellbottom drilled piers, and rebar
design, delivery and/or changes as needed. In charge of hiring, training,
and evaluating staff.
Zachry Industrial, Inc.

We were contracted to demo and reconstruct some structural steel and
ductwork during the outage in addition to adding handrails, grating, and
additional lighting around the Ball Mill foundation that we were contracted
to install post outage. I was hired to assist in the management of a lump
sum contract. I assisted the Project Manager in his duties which included
subcontracts, engineering changes, schedules, cost, change orders, and
document control. I worked closely with the scheduler to construct a good
schedule and cost tracking system during pre-outage activities. I was then
asked to take over site management throughout the remainder of the contract
in addition taking over the scheduling and cost reporting after the
untimely release of my scheduler. I worked closely with the client
representative on extra work and several change orders until the completion
of the project. Reviewed applicants and interviewed potential employees
along with selecting and approving qualified applicants for hire.

and Zachry's expectations on safety as well as the importance of working
safely.

We were constructing a Closed Cycle Cooling System, which consisted of two
Cooling Towers, underground 60" & 96" concrete lined circulating water
