MAJOR ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Implementation of TPM methodology in maintenance department including daily
scheduled work orders, kitted parts, PM and PdM programs to improve machine
reliability. Effectively project managed the rebuild of six spiral freezers
utilizing multiple contractors with as many as 60 people on the job site
with no safety incidents, use of short interval controls to drive daily
completion of tasks and bring visibility to status of work. Installation
and training for a new Form and Fill area including an Ishida Scale, CFS
Tiromat Powerpak 620 and sauce room with mixers, pumps, and storage tanks.
Completion of wireless network upgrades for 2002 Olympics ahead of schedule
and under hours.
EMPLOYMENT HISTORY
Kellogg Company, Clearfield, UT: Maintenance Supervisor (07/02 - present)
Responsible for directing and guiding maintenance activities for a team of
20+ mechanics that support a 24/7 food production operation. Lean
manufacturing lead for maintenance department implemented scheduled work
orders, problem solving through root cause analysis, failure mode equipment
analysis. Continuous improvement of preventative and predictive maintenance
routines to include measurable inspections of production equipment.
Participate in the development and implement of plans and policies to
ensure all areas of accountability were compliant with requirements.
Conduct maintenance in accordance with FDA guidelines, Good Manufacturing
Practices and HACCP program guidelines. Created a safety conscience team
that follows LOTO, NFPA 70E arc flash safety guidelines and improved the
department safety record to have over 365 consecutive safe days worked. RS
Logix 5, 500, 5000 programming and troubleshooting. Responsible for
programming and troubleshooting of Toshiba and Allen-Bradley Variable
Frequency Drives that were utilized for a variety of functions from
circulation fans to conveyors. Effective use of Microsoft office software
to create spreadsheets, presentations, project timelines and communicate
through email. Use of SAP and Maximo CMMS systems for all work orders and
preventative maintenance program, and all maintenance KPI reporting
including daily and weekly spend, labor utilization, labor efficiency,
schedule attainment, MRO stores inventory value.
Lucent Technologies, SLC, UT: Telecommunication Technician (09/00 - 05/02)
Install, maintain, upgrade, and repair telecommunication networks,
including
following schematics, product manuals, and blueprints or drawings. Quality
wiring of
+24 volt DC power systems and 120/240 volt panels. Lead installer
responsible for training new installers on equipment, software, safety, and
proper procedures to follow during work operations. Schedule required work
with customers, to satisfy due dates and use resources most effectively.
Practical use of Microsoft Office software to create spreadsheets and
databases; to effectively manage timelines, workload and results for all
installation projects.
Rite Aid Corp., Harrisville, UT: Coordinator (09/97 - 06/00)
Review required orders to be pulled and shipped on a daily basis, scheduled
for the most efficient use of the department resources to ensure completion
of tasks with little to no overtime. Directly hand out work assignments to
a crew of twenty employees including orders to be pulled and outgoing
trucks to be loaded. Daily inventory
changes for damaged goods. Report daily to department management, so the
next
shift can plan their workload based on how much was accomplished in the
previous shift.

PLC5, SLC 500, Micrologix and Contrologix. Electrical troubleshooting of
automated equipment including 4-20Ma, 0-10V, sinking and sourcing 24VDC,
24VAC and 120VAC control circuits. Knowledgeable in computer programs
including Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and AutoCAD Electrical
2003. Use of digital multimeter, amp meter, megometer, thermal imaging
camera to troubleshoot and prevent failures.
