RESPONSIBILITES:
. Expertise in different type of Polyester, Phenolic resins, Acrylic
resin, gel coat application, PU coatings and FRP manufacturing
processes. Selection of RM & process in conformance to product
requirements.
. Conversant with mould making methods, viz Hand lay Up, Spray Up, Resin
Transfer Molding, Vacuum Resin Infusion Process, Vacuum Bagging. Cross
functional responsibility for design for manufacturability review of
FRP parts in rail interiors & WC cabins.
. Research & Development on resins, coatings, adhesive agents, fillers &
fibre layup design during prototype development. Quality control
testing of samples for the mechanical properties and for fire & smoke
compliance.
. Process Stabilization and optimization using PFMEA. Product proving
during customer FAI.
. Development of process control plan & checklist. Follow up with serial
production work. Effective planning of MPS & implementing Kanban for
lean manufacturing setup.
. Continuous improvement by defect tracking & control. SPC validation
for set target. Contribution in Six sigma project for Zero defect line
& waste elimination.
