Cell Biology:
Performed experiments consisting of pH gradients, cell function depending on the pH of different fluids and
the procedure of electrophoresis. Also performed absorbency values using Spectrophotometers, Bacterial
transformation of K-12 e. coli cells introducing GFP (green fluorescent protein) and the Isolation of the
protein using column chromatography, Erythrocyte agglutination tests, cell counting using hemocytometers.
Genetics:
Created genetic experiments using Brassica Rapa to gene assortment through cross pollination proving the
theory of genetic assortment described by Gregor Mendel.
Anatomy
Conducted testing sea urchins susceptibility to various chemicals inducing egg dispersion.
Immunology:
Performed tests on immunoserums and antibodies produced from rabbits. The different tests used to observe
antigens and antibodies; immunoassay, and Western Blot.
Chemistry:
Performed a study of nomenclature, preparations, reactions, and reaction mechanisms. Testing purities of
substances using Gas Chromatography.
