2. Detailed staff reports on rezoning, special use, special exception, and variance

applications recommending approval or denial of proposed projects.

3. The review and approval of detailed city Special Projects and other various high dollar

development initiatives.

4. Staffing, coordinating, and conducting the Board of Zoning Adjustments (BZA)

hearings, which approved all variance and special exception applications.

5. Coordinating bi weekly meetings with BZA board members to address issues with

upcoming projects.

6. Staffing the Zoning Review Board (ZRB) hearings that approved all rezoning and special

use permit applications.

7. Assisting staff in the implementation of various Comprehensive Development and Land

Use Plans in relation to land use policies developed in conjunction with city standards

and community involvement.

8. Providing extensive zoning analysis to Land Use projects and Corridor Studies

9. Coordinating with various intergovernmental agencies for the analysis and approval of

various engineering projects for completion through permitting.

10. Coordinating with legislative and executive branches of city government for the

implementation of various pieces of legislation related to planning initiatives.
