At this Job, I had Many Duties, I would either handle the money
or the products that need to be sold and Customer Service. Even at Closing, I would mop
the floor and wipe down the windows and tables and take out the garbage
before locking up the store.
I achieved so much from this job because I started this job at the age of 16. I learned the true
meaning of responsibility and hard work andI learned how to cook.
September 2008 to March 2009- Student Intern, Good Shepherd Services, Brooklyn, York
As a Intern, I been at two different sites. My first site was John Jay High School,
where I helped the After-School Program Counselor. I handled student's attendance and I
would call parents and keep them updated on their child's attendance and
I also handled paperwork. My second site was at Von King Cultural Center, where
I learned how to cook and be apart of festivals and feasts and prepare food for
these occasions.
I also achieved a lot of experience from these two programs I worked at because I learned how to
deal with a lot of different personalities. I had the ability to help others and I enjoyed it. I felt
comfortable with myself. I learned to set up for a lot of different types of events and I also learned
to cook different type of cultural foods.
January 2010 to June 2010- Home Depot- Sales Associate, Brooklyn, New York.
As a Sales Associate, I have to ineract with customers because customers are first and we have
to satisfy the customers needs. I am a appliance specialist and I also know Decor and Kitchen
and Bath.
LANGUAGE
I speak Spanish fluently. I can read, write, and speak Spanish very well. Spanish is my first
language. I am Hispanic.
