Marketing Associate October 2008 - Present
Marketing Associate for the largest B2B warehouse distributor in the paint,
body and equipment (PBE) industry. This entails working with 18 locations
across North America representing over 200 vendors and manufacturers. Work
closely with the Director of Marketing to manage and attain company
mandated short, medium and long term goals.
. Publications/Advertisement: Create, update, distribute and oversee
all National Oak marketing publications and advertisement. Manage
the graphics department that is responsible for the physical design
of all publications and advertisement.
. E-mail Marketing Campaigns: Design, implement and oversee all
National Oak e-mail marketing campaigns. These consist of new
product awareness and promotional offers. Created and implemented
the first email marketing campaign at National Oak.
. Vendor Relations: Work closely with key vendors to create
promotional calendars, flyers and negotiate promotional terms that
include scheduling and pricing. Also, work with vendors to devise
exclusive promotions and new product launches.
. Monthly Reports: Monitor sales and trend data for key products and
categories. Track purchases, rebates and new products for key
vendors. Monitor sales and profit for National Oak "National
Accounts" customers.
UVM Davis Student Center
Reservation & Operations Assistant, University of Vermont August 2007-
June 2008
Coordinated daily operations and reservations at the University of
Vermont's student center. Reservation work consists of designing,
coordinating and confirming reservations for social & private events.
Provided tours of the Gold LEED certified student center to guest,
