Objective:

To expand my skills as a veterinary technician and to gain more knowledge of the veterinary medicine field

Skilled in proper restraint techniques, intravenous catheter placement, intramuscular and subcutaneous

injections, taking and developing radiographs (digital radiographs included), and collecting and running of

all blood analyzers and SNAP tests. Able to perform fecal exams and becoming more knowledgeable of

reading urinalysis. Experienced in proper sanitation of cages, parvovirus protocol and other infectious

diseases, basic cleaning (kennel work), and venipuncture. Able to perform dental prophylaxes, administer

oral medications and educate and advise pet owners. Experienced in the use of Cornerstone and Intravet

systems.
