leaders to facilitate classroom and school wide unity forums. Designed PLUS course to address prejudice,

racism, sexism, discrimination, and civil rights in developmentally appropriate manner. Established and

advised Gay Straight Alliance club.

Community Involvement

Gay Lesbian Straight Education Network, Phoenix, AZ 2007 present

Volunteer

Worked closely with GLSEN and used program’s tools and handouts with Gay Straight Alliance members.

Utilized GLSEN materials with pre service teachers to raise awareness of anti LGBTQ bullying and

harassment in schools. Attended safe school trainings and Teachers’ Lounge. Currently training to lead

Educator Training Program.
