Design, develop, and maintain various websites and web applications including Coldfusion 8 and 9, PHP, and static
HTML. Manage database operations for all websites and applications using SQL and MySQL. Manage server hosting
including website, email, ftp and database hosting using Linux and Windows hosted servers. Current Coldfusion projects

Southern Progress / Time Inc, Birmingham, Alabama 2003 –
2009
Digital Marketing Manager (June 1, 2007 – November 27, 2009)
Digital guru for the Custom Publishing department at Southern Progress with responsibility for the strategy, design,
development, and implementation of all web products and services.
• Managed and assisted in the production of nearly $1 million in web content, including copy, photography and
video at LowesCreativeIdeas.com.
• BURST! 2.0 – Developed a digital asset management system that automated the management and storage of over
2000+ images. This project saved the company nearly $10,000 over the course of 3 years and has only cost the
company $300 annually. Additionally developed documentation for instruction and support of the system.

• SkuBURST – online product request and tracking system for Southern Progress. The system allows Southern
Progress to request products from the client in real time. The client is able to then manage the approval of the
products through over 10 departments and 50 different contacts by interacting with the system. Southern
Progress is able to maintain the system without interruption of existing processes. [Coldfusion 9 and MySQL 5]
• BURST Billing – online invoice and receipt management system for Southern Progress. The system allows
Southern Progress to submit invoices and receipts to clients for their review and approval. [Coldfusion 8 and
MySQL 4]
• Provided support for custom applications mentioned above.
• Supported general business processes with technical analysis, improvement, and maintenance.
• Instructed department on use of software and technology.
• Developed, hosted and maintained the department's first website, email marketing campaign, and social media
presence.
Digital Content and Development Coordinator (February 1, 2005 – May 31, 2007)
Developed an online photograph database web-based application that enabled staff to archive, manage, and retrieve
photographic images. This was developed in Coldfusion, MySQL, XHTML, CSS and Javascript on a hosted Linux server.
The application reduced image-related requests by over 90%, and reduced time-to-client by over 100% by providing
immediate access to content.

• Trained client on use of image management web application
• Managed digital content production for three websites, LowesCreativeIdeas.com, LowesWoodworkers.com and
LowesOutdoorLiving.com.
Operations Coordinator (August 1, 2003 – January 31, 2005)
Managed production and distribution of three national magazines including, Southern Living, Cooking Light, and Cottage
Living. Established operating guidelines based on historical analysis that resulted in over 95% reduction in errors.

Proposed and initiated development of a Coldfusion-based time tracking and reporting web application. Maintained high
quality standards for data collection with less than 1% error rate, promoted to assist my superiors with maintaining quality
throughout the region, and manage weekly reporting and expenses. I have worked through many problematic issues that
have required analytical skills, and helped develop improved processes.
