Digital Libraries

Texas Constitutions digital collection redesign

Master's program capstone project. Designed an interactive interface

that improved usability of online archival documents. Collected user

feedback from targeted user groups. Provided development

consultation to Law Library administrators and created cost-benefit

analysis of alternative development methods.

Data Visualization

Analysis of barbershop business models

Conducted ethnographic interviews with haircutting professionals.

Created attractive and informative visualizations of complex workflow

data. Synthe-sized new design ideas based on findings.

Information Architecture

Redesign of TIP Strategies company web site

Contracted by TIP Strategies, an economic development consultancy

firm, to redesign their company website. Worked closely with the

client to identify stakeholder concerns and with the site's admin to

establish guidelines for imp-lementation. Performed a thorough

evaluation of the existing web site and produced a paper deliverable

which detailed findings. Created portfolio of twenty digital mock-ups

illustrating various design options for my clients' consideration.
