Performed circulation functions using Millennium library software for one
of the nation’s largest law libraries. Facilitated access to collection and ful
filled patron hold requests. Contributed to collection management projects
such as compiling an inventory of the collection, shifting stacks and updat
ing item records. Developed comprehensive knowledge of LOC Subject

Server (September 2006 to July 2008)
Server at a casual, fine dining seafood restaurant. Collaborated with fellow
wait staff and kitchen staff while simultaneously serving as many as 30
customers a night with hospitality and enthusiasm. Earned the restaurant’s
only perfect rating for service and personableness from a secret shopper
rating agent. Successfully interacted with a wide variety of customers in
diverse circumstances.

Oversaw service for a ten-table dining room while simultaneously
prepar-ing carryout orders and taking customer orders over the

Digital Libraries
Texas Constitutions digital collection redesign
Master's program capstone project. Designed an interactive interface
that improved usability of online archival documents. Collected user
feedback from targeted user groups. Provided development
consultation to Law Library administrators and created cost-benefit
analysis of alternative development methods.
Data Visualization
Analysis of barbershop business models
Conducted ethnographic interviews with haircutting professionals.
Created attractive and informative visualizations of complex workflow
data. Synthe-sized new design ideas based on findings.
Information Architecture
Redesign of TIP Strategies company web site
Contracted by TIP Strategies, an economic development consultancy
firm, to redesign their company website. Worked closely with the
client to identify stakeholder concerns and with the site's admin to
establish guidelines for imp-lementation. Performed a thorough
evaluation of the existing web site and produced a paper deliverable
which detailed findings. Created portfolio of twenty digital mock-ups
illustrating various design options for my clients' consideration.
