Facilitate a weekly planning board with the Commanding Officer and
Department Heads to establish the long and short range command schedule.
Stand tactical watches utilizing proper navigation techniques and the
ship's self defense system.

Planned, briefed, and helped execute several joint exercises with
Brazilian, Uruguayan, and Argentinean Navies during Southern Partnership
Station 2009.

and overseeing an effective engineering watch team. Draft temporary
standing orders, work orders, and parts requests in order to maintain the
readiness of main and auxiliary machinery rooms. Oversee the execution of
repairs and maintenance to multi-million dollar propulsion engines and
vital support equipment. Train and evaluate watch teams on casualty
control procedures and main space fire drills.

Led division through an intense training cycle resulting in the ship
receiving its engineering certification during the unit level training
assessment.
Drafted, tracked, and closed-out several critical casualty reports that

Volunteered for a 365 day deployment to an Embedded Training Team in Kabul,
Afghanistan as the Pay and Personnel Office Supervisor. Created tools,
tracking and transmittal processes, where none were previously, to support
all pay entitlements, awards, evaluations, correspondence, and the leave
and pass travel program to over 375 active and reserve personnel.
