The class involved intensive research and discussion course
covering the development and effectiveness of public authorities
such as the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, the
Washington D.C. Metro system, and other quasi-governmental
authorities.
Public Administration - A
The class covered public administration at the state and local
level, and the various factors involved in running government
agencies. This included meeting with the head of the State of
Maryland's Governor's Office on Service and Volunteerism.
Bachelor's Degree in Electronic Media and Film with courses including;
Documentary Filmmaking - A
Course work included the pre- production, production, and post-
production of a short 12-15 minute documentary on Digital
Videotape. In addition to that, the course involved the study of
documentary films, their techniques, and debates surrounding
their place in electronic media as a whole.
Narrative Synch Sound - A
Course work included the production/direction of a 16mm short
film, and all production related factors involved therein,
including location scouting, gaining releases for filming, and
technical aspects such as lighting, sound, and post production.
Films were shot in groups of four, with individual students
assisting in the production of other student films.
Aesthetics of Film and Electronic Media - A
Course work included the study of visual techniques involved in
the creation of visual media, and the creation of storyboards to
utilize learned techniques in pre-production.
