Objective:

Work History:
ENGlobal - Coating/Construction Inspector
Oversaw a group of contractors to ensure that all company policies and
procedures were properly implemented throughout the stages of sand blasting
and coating of various atmospheric piping using different coating systems.
. Oversaw sandblasting and coating applications on various parts of NH3
pipeline, including coating transitions in refineries and compressor
stations.
. Directed and orchestrated the plan for work and logistics.
. Used software to impute Global Satellite Positioning coordinates and
plotted our course of work.
. Coordinated with Magellan Midstream Partners, LP operation personnel
to ensure all procedures and safety issues were implemented and
followed.
. Completed and maintained all required documentation for the projects.
. Ensured company policy and procedures were enforced and that all work
was conducted in a safe workmanlike manner.
. Maintained and authorized hot work permits, one call permits, daily
contractor attendance reports, authorization to work permits, coating
daily inspection reports, maintenance reports and performed air
monitoring.
. Ensured atmospheric coating standards and specifications were
followed.
. Utilized inspection tools such as a sling psychomotor, wet film
thickness gauge, dry film thickness gauge, pit gauge, temperature ray
gun, testex tape, UT meter (familiar with velocity) and litmus paper
in these coating procedures.
. Preformed pipe to soil testing & looked for anomalies and analyzed
them.
. Installed Fiberglass reinforcement pads
. Worked with the environmental department to ensure that the blast
media was tested for hazardous waste.
. Ensured that all paint & blast media was collected and properly
disposed of.
Magellan Midstream Partners, LP. Sandblasting and coating inspection
process in various locations
(June 2010- August 2010)
Supervised and inspected during stages of the sandblasting and coating
application process on NH3, gas, and diesel pipelines of various sizes. I
ensured that conditions were suitable for coating, made certain all
procedures and safety issues were implemented and followed, completed and
maintained all required documentation.
OMC - Coating Inspector
Insured the customer's product meets required specifications during
unloading process.
. Verifying and recording traceability issues.
. Inspection for coating damages with supporting documentation.
. Insured joints were properly loaded on the trucks and received
documentation from the contractor.
. Reviewed documentation to ensure accurate daily totals.
. Verified I.D. stencil information and made corrections to incorrect
information in cooperation with FEP.
. Performed inventory process of the Rosebud and Colt pipe yard.
Fayetteville Express Pipeline Unloading and inspection process in various
locations (November 2009- April 2010)
Performed inspection of FBE and ARO Coated joints and
ensured that it meets client specifications at
The Rosebud, AR pipe yard and the Port Of Helena, AR.
Assisted FEP in performing a total inventory
process. Located and verified traceability issues,
correcting issues that fell within guidelines.
ITI -Steel Pipe and Coating Inspector
Accountable for all phases of inspection during manufacturing coating and
shipping of Oil and Gas Pipeline Pipe;
Inspection duties and experience in: Fusion Bonded Epoxy Coating, Abrasive
Resistance Overcoats.
. Complete Inspection of all various sizes of pipe for steel and
coating damages and/or repair to defects to ensure that all
joints meet client contract specifications.
. Maintained files, charts, and reports on work in progress and
inspections.
. Witnessed and monitored repairs including holiday detection.
. Inspected equipment for calibration, quality and safety aspects.
. Provided recording, inspection, reporting, and monitoring of all
shipping by way of ships, barges, railcars and trucks.
. Completed all documentation and verification for shipping.
Western Pipe Coating at Bayou Companies New Iberia, Louisiana (August 2009-
September 2009)
Performed final load out inspection of FBE coated joints.
This included inspection of trucks and supplied materials,
monitoring loading process to prevent damages to joints while
loading and securing. Reviewed gauss magnetism reports to insure
that all joints were within client specifications.
TransCanada for Welspun at Bayou Companies New Iberia, Louisiana (May 2009
- August 2009)
Monitored unloading of barges and inspected for
damages ID & OD;
Also monitored equipment for proper handling
and safety aspects.
Inspecting the ID for defects with a main focus
on the spiral and girth welds.
Worked in Plant 2 on the final steel inspection
rack insuring joints were
properly prepared for coating. Monitored profile
and temperature of steel.
Worked final bench making sure that all aspects
of client requirements were met.
I insured holiday detection and repairs were
completed correctly, insured proper
calibration of the holiday detection equipment
and that any joints that needed
repairs or re-inspection were routed to the
proper location. Monitored
railcar loading of outbound joints.
Louisiana Army National Guard (June 2002- November 2008)
. Heavy Construction Equipment Operator
. Technologically advanced construction equipment with
computerized controls and hydraulics and electronics.
. Set up and inspect the equipment, make adjustments, and perform
some maintenance and minor repairs. Global Positioning System
