EMPLOYMENT
05/2005-05/2010. PRAGMATICS, Inc., McLean, VA (Test Engineer): Assigned
as a Contractor at Department of Homeland Security (DHS), US Customs and
Border Protection (CBP) working on Independent Test Group on Quality
Assurance Systems Acceptance Testing (SAT) team. Responsibilities include
creating Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Work Requests, Problem Requests,
testing and regression testing and meet deadlines for CSPO systems. Testing
CSPO systems include CMAX/Dynacomm Elite, Manifest (Sea, Rail, Truck, Air,
Master and House, which consist of Regular and In Bond Bills), FAST and
Foreign Trade Zone. Assist team members to ensure deadlines were met for
their work requests. Responsibilities include mentoring junior testers in
writing test cases and test plans according to work request specifications.
These systems were quality assurance tested before moving into production
environment using ROSCOED, TSOD, DB2, DATAQUERY, JCL, CMAX, Dimensions 10
and Web Portal. Support Automated Commercial Enterprise (ACE) using
Mainframe and Web Portal. Deadlines were met for all Work Requests and
User Acceptance Testing.
01/2005-05/2005. SETA Corporation, McLean, VA (Mid Level Test Analyst):
Assigned as a Contractor at Department of Homeland Security (DHS), US
Customs and Border Protection (CBP) working on Quality Assurance Systems
Acceptance Testing (SAT) team. Responsible for the Scripts Conversion
project with Programmers, Analysts, National Testing Team and other QA
Testers to insure quality and verification of functionality, programs,
output data, documentation of results, problem identification, writing of
Test Problem Reports (PR) and resolution of jobs, Batch and Online, before
being promoted to production. Work is accomplished using DataQuery,
Mainframe TSO, Roscoe, JCL modifications, CICS, Microsoft PC, Microsoft
Word, Microsoft Excel, PVCS Dimensions, Dynacomm 3.6.2, IBM WebSphere HOD
(Host on Demand) and JAVA-Coded Scripts. Deadlines were met for all Work
Requests and User Acceptance Testing.
05/2003-06/2004. Mosaic Solutions Inc., Herndon, VA (Application
Developer): Responsible included development, maintenance and analyzing,
modifying, coding and testing Customer Program System using Natural 3.1.06
version in OS/MVS Mainframe environment. This resulted in Users work
requests backlog begin reduced within 6 months.
01/1998-04/2003. Software AG, Inc., Reston, VA (Senior Application
Developer): Responsible included working at different Client Sites
updating and maintaining Software AG products. Analyze, design, code,
test, debug, quality assurance testing (executing Test Cases) and
documenting systems (Court Reporting system, WINS2 (Web) system, WAVE
system, HazDat system, Voc Rehab system and Sales Client Support system).
This resulted in Crystal Reports matching Natural reports, reducing Police
Court related overtime, Sale person receiving the correct percentage for
their commission.
