Lori A. Smith-Buettner
Experience: August **** - Present
Business Analyst/Evaluator
Self-employed, Independent contractor
Mesa, AZ
Contracted by various companies, or business owners throughout
the U.S., research is performed in relation to the quality of
customer service each business provides and their specific
marketing strategies are evaluated. Private schools, apartment
complexes, home- builders, car dealerships, banking
institutions, technology and retail stores, are some examples
of the type of businesses under evaluation. Arrival at the
business location is unannounced, to insure an objective
assessment of the quality of service the business is
providing. Once the research and evaluation is concluded, a
typed report is submitted to the business owner or contractor,
usually within a 24hour period. These reports help insure that
each business maintains a high level of integrity and meets
the standards and expectations of the business owner.

Seven years was dedicated to the Special Ed/Resource Dept.
working with students, independently and in small groups who
had various learning disabilities. These consisted of
intermediate grade level students, (4th, 5th and 6th) working

time was spent in the inclusion classroom setting, conforming
to IEP requirements, in an attempt to keep the student at
grade level. Responsible for daily maintenance of accurate,
confidential records on students progress, later submitted and
used as a reference by the Special Ed team as a resource in
IEP meetings.
Approached a greater challenge during the 2008 -2009 school
year, working in a self-contained classroom with emotionally
handicapped students in grades 4th, 5th and 6th covering all
subject areas. Academic support was given, but the focus was
primarily emotional support. This was known as the COPE
program. Essentially, I was responsible to help facilitate
