Professional Experience
United States Army, March 2003 - February 2008
Served as a Fire Support Specialist with the 10th Mountain Division.
Delegated tasks to subordinate soldiers. Taught courses pertaining to the
Fire Support Specialist curriculum. Evaluated and documented soldiers'
progress and deficiencies. Led soldiers in a multitude of duties including
combat. Mentored soldiers on and off duty. Completed two combat tours in
Iraq. Helped develop contemporary counter insurgency techniques. Quickly
attained the rank of sergeant promotable and company fire support team
leader. Maintained $500,000 worth of equipment. Successfully held
leadership positions in jobs outside of my primary military occupational
specialty. These jobs included, but were not limited to, public relations,
infantry team leader, investigation of local Iraqi crimes, civil issues,
and explosive ordinance disposal team member.
Tranquility Veterinary Clinic, February 2008 - April 2008
Worked as a veterinary assistant. Completed day-to-day tasks and any
special tasks needed by the veterinarian.
Boise Auto Auction, April 2008 - November 2008
Created the security protocol for the company. Responsible for the training
and scheduling of a 5 man team.
Eyton Steel Products Inc., April 2008 - February 2009
VP of Operations. Responsibilities included oversight of day-to-day
including managing company consumables, contracts, loss prevention,
procurement, and job schedules among other duties.
Idaho Correctional Center, June, 2009-Current
Responsible for the safety and security of inmates while assigned to a
Special Management Housing Unit. Currently an active member of the Special
Operations Response Team.
