Summary
Serves as an Information Technology (IT) Specialist and assists the organization's user
community in optimizing its automation capabilities in Local Area Network multi-platform
environment. Efforts primarily deal with systems administration of wide area network
and/or local area networks (LAN), and in the maintenance and use of personal
computers and servers along with the desktop applications that are supported. Serves
as one of the primary sources of technical information and support on the evaluation,
installation, acquisition and use of PC hardware and software to accomplish assigned
functions. In this capacity installs, upgrades, and gives technical support on use of PC
and LAN IT hardware/software. Serves as a customer service point of contact for
immediate assistance and problem resolution. Assists end-users in the selection,
installation.

Install Data, Voice and Digital Cable and High Definition service. Displays knowledge of all Cable
receivers and all Cable modems as well as Telephony EMTA's. Installs computer networks for the
Home, and configures all routers for wireless encryption. Also sets up all phone service to work with
