Providence office of Baltimore based developer. Primary focus on adaptive
reuse of historic structures for luxury apartments, office, and restaurant
use. Project sizes have been as large as 500,000 sf. with over 400
residential units. Some projects have had LEED certification requirements.
Early-on involvement with designers and project development team has helped
produce efficient and economical projects. Responsible for estimates at
Conceptual, DD, Permit and Final CD levels. Actual cost data was compiled
and used in in-house budget estimating. Duties included take-off and
pricing, subcontractor solicitation and scope review, value engineering and
contract writing. Estimates were done using company written estimating
system. Working knowledge of Excel and Word. Employee of the year 2008.
O. Ahlborg & Son, Inc., Senior Estimator 1993 to 2004
Hard bid, negotiated and design build projects. Completed projects up to
$50,000,000. Building systems of panelized wood frame, structural steel,
CMU and plank and cast-in-place concrete. Projects included hospitals,
schools, nursing facilities, skating rinks, condominiums up to 330 units,
assisted living, retail and office buildings. Duties included take-off and
pricing, subcontractor solicitation and scope review, value engineering and
contract writing. Early version of Timberline was used for estimating.

Alfred Calcagni & Son, Inc., Vice President and Chief Estimator
Projects included multi-family residential, retail, modular classrooms, pre-
engineered metal buildings, chain restaurants. Responsible for setting
final bid amounts. Supervised a small estimating department with yearly
volume of $25,000,000. Employee of the year 1990.
Dimeo Construction Company, Estimator & Scheduling Engineer
Projects included negotiated and hard bid contracts such as court house,
sewage treatment facilities, office buildings and elderly housing.
