WORK OBJECTIVE

Coordinated and managed the remodeling of 400+
Hardee's Restaurants. Complete construction
consulting/management duties included preparation
of scope notes, bidding packages, pre-bid meetings,
bid comparisons, ordering of equipment, awarding
contracts, contractor's draws and change orders,
inspections and punch lists. Job included
extensive travel. Same duties as shown below ('93
- '98). Have also completed site layouts and site
investigation forms for Rally's Restaurants.
Remodeling skills include framing, drywall,
finishing trim, wood & vinyl flooring, ceramic
tile, painting, wallpapering, minor electrical and
plumbing.

Primary responsibilities included working as
project manager for new building construction which
included preliminary development, site layout,
grading and utility studies, attending public
hearings, final plan review with architects and
engineers, bidding packages, pre-bid meetings, bid
comparisons, awarding contracts, equipment
purchasing, building permits, field inspections,
contractor pay requests, change orders, punch lists
and final approvals. Worked with franchisers to
review perspective sites for size and traffic
circulation; also assisted with all aspects of the
construction process. Additional responsibilities
included building conversion redesigns, new
building modification, designing optional building
layouts and oversight of all maintenance on
existing facilities.
The position ended when the company made the
decision to discontinue new construction of their
own and focus only on franchising.
