Research Assistant (January 2008 - May 2010)
• Analyzed and studied different gain computation methods for broadside and offset
reflectarray antennas
• Provided design guidelines for selection of antenna parameters like diameter, focal to
diameter ratio and feed pattern power factor to obtain an optimum performance of
reflectarrays
• Bandwidth study of both broadside and offset reflectarray antennas and tradeoff between
its gain and bandwidth
• Designed reflectarray elements to operate in X and Ka-bands using Ansoft designer
• Studied differential spatial phase delay and element bandwidth effect on reflectarray
performance
• Analysis, study and design of microwave components like Wilkinson power dividers,
phase shifters, directional couplers, magic-T, maximum gain and low noise amplifiers
using ADS and HFSS
• Fabrication of printed antennas, microwave circuits using LPKF milling machine
