Payroll/HR/Benefit Clerk

Serve as Payroll/HR/Benefit Clerk for over 300 employees in all 50 U.S

States as well as Timekeeper Administrator for Canada.

. Process bi-weekly multi-state payroll for entire company using ADP

Enterprise and Kronos( Previously required to use Oracle).

. Enter all new hire information into HRIS and payroll system.

. Maintain employee files and make all changes to their profiles.

. Run various reports.

. Balance check registers to payroll reports for accuracy.

. Transfer hours from Kronos to ADP Enterprise.

. Manage major projects with tight deadlines.

. FMLA administrator, determine employees eligibility and manage/track

all leave of absences including STD, and transitional LTD.

. Liaison between employees, corporate benefit department and benefit

vendors.

. Coordinate and host new hire and benefit trainings.

. Manage and coordinate all annual Benefits Open Enrollment events.

. Unemployment administrator, make sure that all terminated employees

received all applicable state separation notices, term letters/ COBRA

information. Work directly with Talx/DOL to make sure that all

employee term documents are accurate and legitimate for submittal of

hearing and appeals processes.

. Interact with all levels of management to ensure that all payroll and

HR issues are resolved and policies and procedures are in compliance

with the law.

. Create and maintain employee personnel files.

. Runzheimer Adminstrator, make sure that all field employees are set up

in the mileage reimbursement system and that they receive their

monthly mileage and monthly car allowance payments. System requires

regular maintenance, adding and deleting of employees, route and

territorial changes, employment status changes and manual payment

calculations.

. Manage the I-9 process, submit all I-9 information via E-Verify,

perform all re-certifications, and maintain all I-9 files and all

other responsibilities related to I-9 compliance.

. Assist Recruiter with on board new hire processing in Vurv, assist

with employment screenings and participate in interviewing applicants.

Perform reference checks.

. Responsible for the completion of all employment verifications.

. Assist HR manager with employee relations resolutions, document all
