. Performed manager role on commercial projects from planning
phase through occupancy ensuring the timely execution and
delivery of firm projects

As the primary contact for residential projects, worked
extensively with customers to develop and execute projects that
not only fulfilled their design goals, but also maintained
budgets and quality standards
. Re-designed and fitted plumbing plans including rough
plumbing and boilers to ensure more efficient use of space and
water consumption
. Updated electrical circuits, wiring and fixtures to the
highest local code standards in order to provide significant
savings in energy costs whilst utilizing the most green
conscious and responsible lighting technologies
. Consulted with home owners regarding execution of energy
savings plans for new and existing homes including education
regarding industry leading products such as expandable foam
insulation technologies, LED lighting, tankless water heating
and the utilization of alternative plumbing technology such as

Restaurants & Food Industry
D4 Irish Pub-5,000 sqft full-scale restaurant; new construction build
out in a new high-rise in downtown
Chicago
. Through continuous negotiations of contracts and networking with
international vendors, saved over $300K in bottom line project costs
. Improved the design and engineering specifications for main kitchen to
increase productivity, efficiency and overall safety
. Maintained strict adherence to timelines and executed job in 80% of
the time mandated for completion
Epic Restaurant-10,000 sqft (4 story) restaurant in downtown Chicago
restaurant district, $5.3 million project
. Selected for project amongst other larger competitor firms in Chicago
to execute project which previous firm had failed to begin effectively
. Teardown of structure (maintaining 3 external walls) and complete re-
engineering of an early 1900s building including structural,
electrical, plumbing and HVAC
. Maintained budget efficiencies and cost containment measures
throughout numerous changes in architectural plans in order to complete
project with minimal overruns
Argo Tea Caf -1,800 sqft caf -Gut and remodel of caf within a Sears
Retail Store in downtown Chicago
. Worked in collaboration with Sears store management to aggressively
move the project forward, including maintaining an overnight operation
in order to minimize retail store interruptions
. Managed more than 5 separate trades working at the same time and
overlapping space and minimized logistical problems to maintain strict
project timetable
. Completed project within timeline (4 weeks) and within tight budget
constraints
Retail Industry
Club Monaco-3,000 sqft retail store-Gut and remodel of a national chain
retail store within a highly visible mall in downtown Chicago (900 North
Michigan Avenue)
. Worked extensively with out-of-state architect to effectuate changes,
additions, and improvements to project while maintaining strict project
timeline
. Re-engineered the clients millwork plan and developed a solution to
errors made by client's vendors in production of cabinetry in order to
minimize rework, budget overages and project timetable
. Maintained strong relationships with 900 North Michigan Avenue mall
management team resulting in extended work privileges and future
projects
Christofle-700 sqft high profile retail china store-Gut and remodel on
highly visible 1st floor at 900 North
Michigan Avenue
. Managed local and French carpenters to complete complex millwork and
lighting plans within strict design tolerances
. Interfaced with French Architectural firm in order to implement an
accurate vision for store aesthetics and uniformity with international
store guidelines
. Developed alternative plan for millwork lighting in order to
simulate international lighting products unavailable in the
United States
Nonprofit Industry
Safer Foundation-6,000 sqft office-Gut and remodel of 3 floors
of an occupied office building
. Worked with management and staff to relocate employees within
the building on a rotating schedule in order to minimize work
interruptions while maintaining project timeline
. Worked extensively within the vision of the Safer Foundation
in teaching trades to rehabilitated individuals including
carpentry, flooring and minor electrical
. Was integral in design decisions and value engineering to
collaborate in finding savings throughout the project;
saved over $5,000 per floor by reengineering the HVAC design
and floor layouts
Residential
Dilallo Residence-Schaumburg Il-Kitchen, 3 bathrooms, Master
Bedroom rehab
. Worked with customers to brainstorm design ideas prior to
development of final design plan in order to accurately
represent client needs
. Incorporated high efficiency plumbing system and fixtures into
project in order to maximize space and energy savings
. Managed total project and personally executed rough carpentry,
electrical, plumbing, tile plans to client specifications, on
time and within budget constraints
Purpura Residence-Glenview IL-Remodeling of flooring in entire
home, including finish carpentry, plumbing, various electrical
installations
. Researched, recommended and installed environmentally friendly
eco-flooring throughout the second floor of home, resulting in
cost and green savings
. Replaced entire first floor tile with engineered flooring made
with environmentally conscious wood product from Sweden
. Retrofitted home with energy efficient LED lighting and
