Performed day to day management of a 55-county chapter facilitating link between region/national offices
and chapter volunteers and staff in carrying out foundation objectives for fundraising, mission awareness
and implementation. Managed recruiting, training, and motivating staff and volunteers in meeting
objectives of the business plan; including financial management of Chapter that included establishing and
monitoring budgets; helicopter view for strategic planning; program; communications; human resources
and operations. Developed and presented training programs, annual conference and workshops to
continue to develop appropriate skills of staff and volunteers, using Situational Leadership training.
Established Volunteer Recognition Program. Negotiated leases for buildings and equipment. Planned new
