new hires as the boards manufacturing division grew from 120 to over 1200
employees. Hires ranged from manufacturing technicians, engineering
technicians, engineers, to planners, materials specialists and buyers.
First year retention exceeded 98 percent.
. Identified and developed five specialty desks-optical engineering, pulp
&paper, plastics, geotechnical and structural engineering disciplines.

of Fame awards, two Top Hitter Awards, top billings 23 times
in an office with 25 recruiters, plus several second and

Leadership;
. Identified that MES300 records were only maintained for 90 days which
created issues when quality problems arose. Developed a team, obtained
financing, and drove creation of a 2 year back-up system. Wrote Discovery
program to pull data and provided training to all MES300 sites.
Teamwork:
. Received numerous commendations for leading the Virtual
Factory Joint Reticle Team to complete all projects on time
and improve the reticle processes.
. Contributed to the success of the Documentation Process
Improvement Team of the documentation process as the lead
trainer and owner for four shifts of peers. Doc Leader
trainer/ process owner/ shift trainer for the process.
Awarded a plaque /cash.
Diversity:
. Created four quarterly activities as the Diversity Coach '06 to increase
awareness for Oregon Planning including two potlucks and numerous games
on cultures, traditions, nationalities
. Successful module coach of a culturally diverse 20-40 person team.
Provided instruction to members with language barriers. Improved quality
and decreased thru-put-time.
Customer Service:
. Excellent customer service with extensive follow-up led to 16 placements
with one company and 22 with another company within one year.
. Recognized 24 times with awards for excellent customer service by
internal and external companies including a job offer from a computer
manufacturer after my troubleshooting/problem solving visit on a quality
issue that I resolved 20 minutes after arrival.
