the environmental permitting and compliance for more than
30 Intermodal facilities along the CSX train network.

Florida Rock Industries Inc., Jacksonville, Florida.
Environmental Director. Responsibilities included
coordinating and managing all environmental aspects of the
Southern Concrete Group. The maintenance of all air, water,
and fuel permits for more than 70 facilities in Florida,
Georgia, and North Carolina with an annual operational
budget in excess of $1 million. Oversee all environmental
construction and maintenance of stormwater and wastewater
systems. Identify and analyze sources of pollution to
determine their effects. Conduct research to develop
methods of abating or controlling sources of environmental
pollutants. Design and implement training programs to
educate employees about environmental compliance. Assist
safety department with safety, loss, DOT, and accident
investigations. Develop corporate compliance solutions for
environmental, safety, and health issues as a member of the
EHS leadership team.

Project Engineer. Responsibilities included marketing and
project management for the Jacksonville office. Projects
included phase I and II contamination assessment (CA),
underground storage tank (UST) closure assessment, remedial
action plan (RAP) design and system construction oversight.
September 1996 - December 1998.
Marc Engineering Group, Inc., Jacksonville, Florida.
Project Engineer. Responsibilities included associated
tasks from initial assessment through remediation of
environmental impacted groundwater and soil. Projects
included phase I and II environmental site assessments
(ESAs) for industrial and commercial properties to
determine environmental impact prior to real estate
transactions.
January 1995 - August 1996.
RSDI Environmental, Inc., Jacksonville, Florida.
Staff Engineer. Responsibilities included inspection and
title research for properties undergoing ESA, sampling
hazardous and non-hazardous waste, and remediation system
operation and maintenance (O&M). Established a storage
tank management program and served as project manager on
over 30 UST closure sites, duties involved cost estimation,
subcontractor selection, invoice preparation, change order
negotiation, and client relations.
