RE: Human Resources Assistant Position
Dear Hiring Manager:
It is with great interest that I am forwarding you my resume for
consideration of the Human Resources Assistant position. I am interested
in this position for two reasons: 1) I am excited and driven to transition
into the Human Resources field as a chosen career path and 2) I am
confident that I can positively contribute to this position as a result of
my Human Resource experiences accumulated while managing two retail chains
and the administrative skills accumulated while managing production for a
large commercial appraisal firm.
It appears that my unique skill set is in alignment with the job
description and the position requirements. I hold a Bachelor's of Science
degree in Business Management from the W.P. Carey School of Business,
Arizona State University and I am proficient in Microsoft Office with
exceptional computer skills. In my role as Assistant Manager of
Merchandising for Mervyn's LLC, I handled many experiences that were Human
Resources related. Examples include recruiting, hiring, terminating,
processing team member paperwork, handling confidential employee
information, as well as, leading group training sessions and new hire
orientations. In addition, I managed daily employee relations such as
scheduling, peer/co-worker mediations, and violations of workplace
policies. Currently, as the Production Manager for Lefevers Viewpoint
Group, I manage the editing and preparing of all commercial appraisal
reports for timely delivery to clients. I also provide assistance to the
company's certified appraiser staff, answer telephones, and execute other
clerical functions as needed. This position calls for immense attention
to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and strong time-management
and multi-tasking abilities.
Furthermore, I bring to the Human Resources Assistant position a strong
sense of business acumen, the ability to problem solve, the ability to
adapt to change, and a strong desire to produce quality work. I have
excellent communication skills both written and verbal, as well as, the
ability to work well with others or independently. I am excited to
contribute my unique skill set in a challenging environment with a strong
desire to grow within the company. I have provided my resume on the
following page. Thank you for your time and I look forward to discussing
this opportunity in the near future! I can be reached by phone at:
602-***-**** or by e-mail at: ***************@*******.***.
Sincerely,
