Project Scope: Pipeline Financials Alternative Trading System (ATS) enables

institutions and brokerage firms to quickly and efficiently trade large

blocks of stocks. The Pipeline Block Board is the focal point for the

Pipeline trading platform. There are basically five types of users that

Pipeline supports Fix Auto Order, Fix Block Board, Staged, OMS integrated

and Order Entry .It supports different types of OMS Macgregor, Charles

River, Latent Zero and Line Data.

Pipeline's rules are designed to reward traders who place orders at least

as aggressively as the midpoint of the National Best Bid / Offer (NBBO).

It executes (Cross) the aggressive Buy order and Sell Order at the

midpoint. Aggressive orders earn the right to see passive counteroffers and

receive price improvement when the contra is aggressively priced. If the

limit prices of a buyer and seller overlap, Pipeline will print the trade

as close as possible to the midpoint of the current market price,

potentially giving both parties price improvement.

The New Switching Engine Server is designed to also support Order which are

less than LBQ (Large block Quantity). These Orders get routed out to the

Out bound locations. It also provides additional features to the traders

like XVP, Contra Targeting, Black Contra, Channel Select etc.
