I am committed to working efficiently and effectively within any
organisation that I work. My strengths are learning quickly, handling
problems as they are encountered with a cool head, the ability to
understand accounting systems whether they are generic or bespoke and
excellent people management skills will add to the success of any company I
work. In addition I have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

practice)

The Nice Accounting Limited approached me to be consultant for three months
with directorship and partnership of business there after. I have been
working with Nice Accounting Limited training clients to use the VT Cash
Book & Transaction package. I have also trained members of staff on the
use of software and in basic book-keeping, delegating activities to team
members, monitor and appraise the work of others.
I have been recruiting prospective clients. After three months with Nice
Accounting I have successfully recruited one client who has already signed
on and three prospective clients who will be signing on in another two to
three months.
I have train so far two clients on VT Transaction and cash book and will be
training another in three weeks times. I am responsible for fees setting
and other duties include preparing financial statements and computing
corporation tax payable as well as advising client.
Other duties include monitoring and controlling activities against budgets;
controlling cost to improve service to client.

- I have been working with the Willesden Seventh Day Adventist
Church sorting out there accounts going back from 2004. I did a review
of the churches accounts and records for the years going back from 2004
and made recommendations on controls that needed to be put in place,
which included setting up restricted bank accounts going back to 2004 and
separating any restricted income that was donated and transferring these
to this account.
- I have reported all weaknesses to the church and its board and
also made recommendation for changes.
- Designing and Setting up controls for payments and receipts.
- Reconciling all banks to date and setting up controls for
these to be reconciled and authorised.
- Segregating duties and setting up accountability.
- Reconciling the Gift Aid Trust Account and the Tithes Account
with the parent South England Conference (SEC) of Seventh Day Adventist.
- Reconciling all accounts for related groups.
- Attending meeting at SEC in Watford with Treasurer, Elder and
Pastor of the church to agree calculations. Reporting findings to church
board and then to the member at the meeting of the members.
- Train the members of the treasury teams re changes implemented
in recording donations and splitting funds in appropriate category.
- Work as advisory to the treasury. For 2010 working as head of
their treasury department and training someone to take over this role.
- Meet with tenders re tendering of renovation work. Review the
work of Treasury staff.
- I am in the process of working on the church's first Business
Plan and from this plan I will prepare a five year budget for the
church. I am also a member of their fund raising team they are raising
funds for renovation work. Also I try to assist them in arranging
funding for projects and works.

human resources department, company secretarial. The London & Irish team
has 5 partners, 7 managers and approximately 50 staff.
Main Responsibilities:
Audit: - Attending planning meetings. Planning and execution of audits; in
some cases planning audit budgets. Evaluating systems and controls and
documenting system details. Planning and developing work programmes in some
cases. Completing files after final review. Prepare Corporation tax

Train, supervise and review the work of juniors.
The jobs carried out as a semi - senior are sometimes planned by me. In
some cases the manager or a senior plans the job.
These audits range from 2.5 million to 6 million (in previous years
turnover was greater but has reduce this year significantly in some areas
due to reorganisation or closure of business) . The size of team range
form two to six members.
The firm's customer base includes Investment Properties, River Cruises,
Charities, Retailers, Fruit and Vegetable Wholesalers etc.
Solicitors Reporting:

planning work on these audits is usually done by this manager. Execute
audit and develop work programmes. Supervise juniors and completing job.

Pension - I have minimal pension audit experience.
Main Achievements: Learning the SAR's quickly and excelling at it,
training others to do it. Also increased audit experience.

Main Responsibilities:
Responsible for preparing book-keeping report for at least ten different
clients on a monthly basis operating in a wide range of trade ranging from
pharmaceutical, construction, architectural, food and fashion to name a
few. Turnover varies up to over 10 million
Organising and awareness skills were used in coordination with reporting
skills in fulfilling the duties of keeping the stationery cupboard up to
date and for placing the order with the purchasing personnel once per
month.
The ability to adapt to changes and grasp information quickly assisted in
the proficient application of performing computerised accounting using the
Viztopia accounting package to perform bank reconciliation, purchase and
sales day book, cash book, aged creditors & debtors listings, vat reports
and any other nominal prints and customers client history.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal and the ability to
keep a level head in the most irritable situation were essential in
liaising with clients through faxes and telephone.
Preparing Intrastat sheets for client trading with overseas suppliers and
preparing Vat Returns.
Main Achievements: Grasp quickly a new package Viztopia; preparation of
Intrastate for Vat reporting; Exposure to accounting treatment of a wide
client base. Being responsible for my own work pool was an asset.
INTEREST:
I am currently a mentor for young people with the South England Conference
of Seventh Day Adventist Church. I also do public relation for charities
