Aviation Electrician's Mate Third Class: Advanced to Petty Officer Third
Class (E-4) in two and one half years over senior airmen without benefit of
advanced schooling or Navy training. Received letters of commendation and
high evaluation marks from my squadron.
APPLICABLE WORK EXPERIENCE: (in order of applicability)
September 2006 - June 2008: Sky Angel (Call Center), Cleveland, Tennessee
(Promoted to) Technical Services Department Team Lead: Supervised a team
of 21contact center agents in all technical aspects of the service
equipment. Monitored calls between customers and agents for quality
assurance and provided feedback and/or coaching when needed. Provided
quarterly reports on each individual from my team to our Call Center
Manager. Other duties included leadership development facilitator and
coordinator of a weekly class of 9-12 call center personnel in "Fred
Factor" (a leadership and personal growth development class designed to
improve listening and behavioral skills).
(Promoted to) Technical Trainer for IPTV: Trained all new associates on the
technical aspects of Internet Protocol Television (IPTV). Advised all call
center representatives (60) in sales and trouble shooting and advised
customers of IPTV technology. Developed scripting for call center
representatives to use while engaged in conversation with potential and
existing Sky Angel customers.
(Hired as) Call Center Representative: Fielded sales and technical support
calls for United States customers. Assisted junior agents with sales and
technical calls when escalated beyond their training knowledge/skill.
Technical advisor for retention team and fielded overflow calls for
Internet Prototype Television (IPTV).
Awarded Top Sales Percentage for 4th Quarter of 2006.

Shipping Department: Ensure the timely delivery of curriculum to churches
and organizations within the U.S. and internationally. Maintain good
working relationships will all customers.

Percussion Instructor: Write music for and instruct 12 high school
students to coordinate with half time, parade, and sideline performances.
Served as substitute teacher in Bradley County while looking for full time
work.

Shipping and Inventory Manager: Responsible for all shipping, receiving,
and inventory for company that serves over 600 customers in the Tennessee
Valley and North Georgia areas. Company experienced large lay-off in
January 2009.

General Laborer: Performed contract work while looking for permanent
position.

Shipping Manager: Responsible for the timely shipment of portrait packages

Fleet Manager (Dispatcher): Ran a fleet of 65 over the road semi trucks.
Responsible for answering multi-line phone system in order to resolve pay
issues, dispatch trucks and set up trucks with loads of freight to ensure
timely delivery to numerous customers.

Navy Recruiter: Completed professional sales school in New Orleans.
Advanced to Petty Officer Second Class (E-5) in one year. Responsible for
canvassing and recruiting Navy veterans into the Navy Reserve.
Awarded "Silver Eagle" for gaining 150% of goal for fiscal year 2003.

Aviation Electrician's Mate Third Class: Responsibilities included
repairing and operating electrical control systems on Navy F-14 aircraft.
Also qualified to launch, recover and service aircraft as a plane captain.
Participated in one Persian Gulf cruise in support of Operation Southern
Watch over Iraq while a member of Fighter Squadron 31 onboard the aircraft
carrier U.S.S. Abraham Lincoln. Also, launched F-14 aircraft from Top Gun
school in Fallon, Nevada to protect San Francisco during 911 attacks on
America. Navy travels included Hawaii, Alaska, Australia, United Arab
Emerites and Tasmania.
