Professional Profile
I am an English literature and writing instructor passionate about the
written word and the craft of teaching. I offer four years of experience
with students grades K-12 in both public and private school settings. I
have worked with students from a variety of ages and backgrounds via
tutoring companies, supplemental education programs, a district-sponsored
tutoring program (AVID), and various church ministries. I enjoy a good
rapport with students, parents, and colleagues alike. I have a Bachelor of
Arts degree in English from Biola University and perpetual membership in
the university's Torrey Honors Institute. I am currently pursuing my single-
subject teaching credential. Organized, disciplined, and zealous for
student learning, I ardently desire to inspire and instruct students in the
aesthetic, philosophical, and cultural import of language and literature to
prepare them for college and to meet the world as thoughtful and productive
citizens.
