Award Received an Appreciation award for timely delivery of the

tasks and maintaining quality in the code developed

consistently every sprint.

Project GE Energy deals with Turbines and it has various turbines

Description at different customer locations across the globe. The BHM

project is the part of Optimization and Controls

department. BHM is developed to monitor the blades of the

Gas turbines in terms of getting data through a

transducer and detect some variation occurring as time

progress and sense if a crack or the turbine is spinning

out of the desired orbit. The BHM software configures the

BHM hardware which collects vital data from the

transducers mounted on the blades of the turbine. It is

also responsible for plotting the data received and raise

an alarm as and when it sees some un certainty in the

data. A blade crack detected before it actually happens

in production saves GE millions of dollars of money.

Environment The application is developed with C# .NET 3.0

technologies mainly dealing WPF for the front end. The

database is a mix of XML and SQLite. Configuration

management and task management is done using VSTS.

Responsibility Line of work includes working in an Agile team performing

the requirements gathering, design, code and unit

testing the written code using NUnit and documentation of

the developed product.

hardware which is used to monitor any unwanted vibrations

in the rotating machinery parts like Shaft, Rotors etc in

the Wind Turbines or any other rotating machinery where

the device is hooked and to alert the users using visual

Warnings or Alarms. We work with a dedicated team of

professionals and provide solutions to produce one of the

clean sources of renewable energy to produce electricity

with Wind Turbines. It also allows users to configure the

system as per his/her needs to monitor the system. The

software also shows the user with the plots, graphs and

spectra's of the behavior of the rotating machinery.

Insurance giant in the US. Strategic Contract Management

comes under Production and enhancement of the AETNA

application maintenance. This project involves error

analysis and rectification. AETNA officials use SCM

and their health insurance service providers.
