BRIEF WORK HISTORY
1993-1989: Domestic
Began a masonry apprentiship in Phoenix becoming a journeyman bricklayer 3
years later and worked as a bricklayer, foreman and later becoming a
General Contractor. When times were slow I worked multiple trades, learning
other crafts which broadened my value and proved valuable to my future
employers. Worked a few years as an outside salesman for a Nut and Bolt
company catering to construction sites and contractors prior to going
overseas.
1989 to 1991: International (Classified) / Domestic
Worked for Dillingham Construction as a multi-craftsman on classified
Embassy projects in Warsaw, Poland and Leningrad (ST PETERSBURG), Russia.
Upon completion in late 1989, worked as an asbestos removal project
supervisor for Brand Site Services in Seattle and Portland. In 1991 I
returned to Phoenix and worked for two local contractors as Project
Superintendent until 1994.
1994-1997: International (Classified)
Other local contractors as Project Super until 1994 when I went to work for
Fluor -Daniels as Project Superintendent on the reconstruction of the
AMERICAN EMBASSY in VILNIUS, LITHUANIA. Upon completion they sent me to
KIEV to supervise the extensive roof demolition and reconstruction.
(Letters of Recommend enclosed).
Some other classified projects for Caddel Int'l as a multi craftsman, Brown
& Root as Site Supervisor in BOSNIA and Morrison Knudson in KIEV,
BELARUSSIA as Project Supt and several other classified projects in a
variety of countries.
1998-2010 Domestic ( Phoenix Az) Domestic
Worked for local contractors in the Phoenix area doing various commercial
projects ranging from a large theater complex, multi story hotel remodel,
medical facilities,,restaurants, office complexes, recreational facilities
to cremation gardens
Inspections
Participation in all Structural and Architectural Inspections was a
mainstay on all projects. I worked to exceed all construction standards,
particularly in meeting all ICBO requirements. I assisted Special
Inspectors when necessary, and worked to exceed high-quality standards of
demanding owners.
In 43 years of construction and construction management, I have worked with
thousands of structural, plumbing and electrical inspectors - from local
and state inspectors to US Army Corps of Engineers.
