Over forty years of successful, Geography, Geological, Civil and Mining
Engineering, Land and Reclamation experience. Twenty one years of oil and
gas, land and mine management and operation experience. Also experience in
highway estimating, contracting and construction. I also served a term as
a Director of the Virginia Mining and Reclamation Association and the
Lonesome Pine Soil and Water Conservation District.
EQUIPMENT:
Experience in the operation of surface and underground equipment,
engineering, geological and surveying equipment. Computer literate in
Microsoft Professional, Word Perfect, Autocad, Autocivil, SMI survey, SMI

Sapphire Coal Company-Land Manager. Preformed and supervised all aspects
of land work from research to royalty reports.
1995-2008
G. L. Mullins and Associates-Owner/Consultant. Performed consulting work
in Environmental, Geography, Geology, Land, Mining, Oil and Gas, Planning,
Reclamation and Surveying.
1987-1995
G. L. Mullins and Associates-Owner/Consultant. Formally contracted with
Equitable Resource Exploration, an oil and gas energy company. I
coordinate Land, Surveying and Permitting activities in Virginia. I also
do some Geological Investigations mostly involving coal and water.
1987
Virginia Department of Transportation-Highway Contracting and Estimating
Analyst. I review proposed construction and maintenance projects,
developed the Engineers Estimate, received projects bids from contractors
and awarded contracts.
1984-1987
Elk Creek Coal Corporation, a underground coal mining company-President and
General Manager. I supervised and was responsible for all business
activities.
1979-1984
Virginia Energy Company, a surface and underground mining company-Manager
of Land and Mines. I was responsible for the company owned property,
acquisition of Land and Leases, developing the property and developing
mines from planning stages to completion. Prior to 1982, I was the Chief
Geological Engineer. I was responsible for exploration, mine planning,
permitting and reclamation.
1976-1979
Robertson Engineering Company(as associated engineering company of Virginia
Energy Company)-Geological Engineer. I worked under the direction of the
Chief Engineer. I was responsible for surveying, mapping, engineering
design and permitting.
1975-1976
Construction Materials and Engineering, a testing and engineering company-
Engineering Technician. I was responsible for the testing and design of
construction materials including aggregates, asphalt, concrete and soils in
the field and laboratory.
1971-1972
Washington Testing and Engineering, a testing and engineering company-
Engineering Technician. I was responsible for the testing and design of
construction materials including aggregates, asphalt, concrete and soils
in the field and laboratory.
