Led development of precision time protocol (1588) Version2.

Worked on development of multi core MPC8578 (8 core) hypervisor, u-boot and

Led the development of porting open source precision time protocol on

Freescale powerpc microcontrollers and using the Freescale hardware PTP IP

bock achieved a accuracy of +/- 70 nsec on MPC8360.

Worked on development of ISB (Interface Switching Board) used in CDMA SDU

(Selection Distribution Unit) and VPU (Vocoder Processing Unit) products,

iDEN iVPU and NGD (Next Generation Dispatch) products, and the UMTS Node B

product.

As the Project lead and HAL (Hardware Abstraction Layer) Expert within the

team, primary software engineering responsibilities include analyzing

requirements, leading high and low level designs using UML, leading design

reviews, coordinating with other groups to validate design integrity,

generating code, unit testing, integration testing, and delivering the

products to internal customer. Lead the development of the Secure Shell

(SSH) feature on the ISB for iDEN VPU.

Worked as the Project Lead in developing the OSPF, OSPF Aggregation, DHCP,

and VRRP protocol features on the ISB. Ported OSPF functionality from the

VxWorks OS based ISB platform to the Linux OS based UISB (UMTS ISB)

platform.

Worked on development of Ethernet, I2C,SPI device drivers and Linux kernel

for Liinux 2.6.X.

On loan to another Development team, worked on a CDMA call processing

feature to implement the CRM (configuration resource Manager) functionality

in the CDMA Mobility Manager.

As a part of the BSP development developed a GPS device driver to send

commands to the GPS receiver and receive time and position from the

receiver. Implemented JTAG functionality on the ISB (Interface switching

Board) so that JTAG test files (BVF) could be executed to test JTAG enabled

devices on the ISB. Developed onboard packet sniffer to capture packets

sent and received from the ISB. Developed MMI commands to send and receive

IP, UDP, ICMP packets of variable sizes to test debug ports, to display

packets types, source IP/Ethernet address, destination IP/Ethernet address,

and packet size.
