Walsh Construction Company-Chicago, IL
Superintendent
Project:
Roosevelt Collection, Chicago, IL
($180 million) 8/07 to 6/09
. Constructed new multi-use facility which included retail, residential,
theater and parking structure consisting of 1.75
million sq. ft., located on an 8 acres site between the Chicago river on
the east and a rail system on the west.
. Scope of project that I was responsible for included layout, excavation
and grading, foundations, concrete, masonry, framing,
drywall, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and roofing while
enforcing all OSHA safety regulations
Whiting-Turner Construction Company-Baltimore, MD
Superintendent
Projects:
Westfield Annapolis Mall Expansion, Annapolis, MD
($160 million) 5/06 to 6/07
. Constructed 240,000 sq ft. addition for retail mall adding more than 60
new tenant spaces, pre-cast garage structures adding more than 1,000 new
parking spaces along with updating existing tenant spacing and site
improvements. Completion of this project created the new largest mall in
Maryland surpassing Arundel Mills.
. Scope of project that I was responsible for included layout, excavation,
grading, foundations, structural steel, concrete, mechanical.
electrical, plumbing and roadway improvements. Enforced OSHA safety
exultations and maintained all sediment erosion control according to
local requirements.
B.W.I Thurgood Marshall Airport Roadway Expansion, Hanover, MD
($188 million) 5/02 to 5/06
. Project included added vehicle lanes to the upper and lower terminal
roadway, skywalks, moving walkways, interior renovation at the terminals
along with a new electrical sub-station.
. Scope of project that I was responsible for included demolition, layout,
excavation, foundations, concrete, electrical, mechanical, window
curtain, interior and exterior trim and pre-cast erection in the heart of
the airport without interrupting the airport operations.
Arundel Mills Mall and Highway 295 Interchange, Hanover MD
($250 million) Assistant Superintendent 5/01 to
5/02
. Constructed new retail mall on a 400 acre site. along with all associated
roadways and parking including a highway interchange which was the
largest mall in Maryland with 1,300,000 sq ft of gross lease space.
. Scope of project that I was responsible for included demolition, layout,
grading, water and sewer, storm drain system, storm water management
facilities, sediment erosion control, paving, and bridge deck.
