Owned a successful manufacturing business in Tennessee,where
I dealt with all aspects of
Operating within a budget, and meeting deadlines, and
following thru on contracts.
Relocated to Sebring, Fl. And managed a 72 unit with 12
floors with 2 elevators. Learned problems associated with
older complexes. Dealt with elevator issues and upgrades.
Secured new contracts to upgrade elevator system, and also
upgraded the outdated air conditioning system.
Moved to Largo, Fl. And became an on-site manager with spouse
and overseen a R.V. park with 300 sites. Handled all types
of situations that are associated with a property that deals
with weekly and seasonal rentals.
I served over 4 years as the Property Manager of a 320 unit
condominium, with a budget of $960,000.00, and currently
manage a 90 unit, 6 story highrise. Oversee all contracts
associated with the complex. Efficient with TOPS (accounting
program) and Quickbooks. Met with all contractors and
overseen all projects on property. Prepare the financial
reports; keep the Board of Directors on track with the
progress of all projects. Work to keep arrears in check and
keep all records up to date. Meet with tenants to discuss day
to day problems that occur with a property of that size.
In the 4 years as Property Manager I saved the association
over $46,000 due to cost cutting measures.
