At HRN Services Inc., is a Health Services Support Organization, the Company
offers national traveling assignments for registered Nurses and other
healthcare providers through our "Gateway To Travel" Program. As a team
lead, development involved extensive design, development, managed numerous
modules for Payroll Billing, Accounting, Gateway to Travel Systems. Some of
the challenge works involved during the implementation of various modules
are
Assignment module, involved various nuclear modules such as Stipend, Direct
Housing and Furniture are complex front end using Data-grid Controls. These
modules are tightly integrated with Accounting System which generates
expense checks for above sub modules which in turn talks to the Windows
Services which transfers the data to bank.
Time Sheet module involves capturing per-diem and assignment time data.
Payroll module, this is one of my challenging and sensitive modules which I
accomplished successfully from design, development, and integration and
tested very well. Complex calculations include Insurance, Incidental
Allowance, 401k; Credit Union, Garnishments and other user defined Special
Deductions which are integrated with pay check generation module. These
sensitive calculations are all accomplished using back end SQL Store
procedures, Functions.
Generating General Ledger report from payroll data is another interesting
module to work with. Each weeks Payroll data has to balance, this was
accomplished using Store procedure.
In Accounting System, this is a center and important piece of system which
talks to all other modules like Assignment, Stipend, Direct Housing,
Furniture, chargeback, Invoicing and Payroll.
Reports like Trial Balance, P & L and Balance Sheet which are mission
critical for the accounting department.
For all these Applications, Menu has different Security Level Access
depending on the User Access.
Transferring Pay check Data through Windows service to bank.

the company had large number of customers using the system, one of such
client which I got involved was REI's Job search module.
There were 2 sections involved, external side is where public can apply for
jobs which are open with the company. Internal side is where to maintain the
applications which are received.

periodically downloaded from the Web Server for Analysis and further
processing.

report using visual basic 6.0. This project was developed using Three Tier
Architecture.

MIBS is a fully integrated Management Information System through which
various functions of the organization can be inter-linked. MIBS Package was
developed using Three Tier Architecture and ActiveX Code Components. RDO Data
Access Object was used for accessing the Database through ODBC. A separate
Error Handling Active-X in process Server component was designed to trap
Errors. It provides options for the end user to take necessary actions.
Reports were developed in Crystal Reports 4.6 and Custom Reports in Microsoft
Visual Basic 5.0. Win32API functions were used to control the behavior of the
forms and Controls.
Responsibilit : The application were completed using Visual Basic 5.0,

This package comprises of functional modules involving Contractor Master,
Product Master, Inspection and Payments. It automates various business
processes such as Placing Job Orders, Contractor Details, Product
Specifications, Quality Inspections and Quality Rating & Bills Payables. It
includes reports for Job Allotment, Supplier history, Outstanding Payables,
Supplier ratings and Pending orders.
The data retrieval was done using DAO, which were developed as functions in
separate Class modules. This Software usage was widened by incorporating OLE
connectivity with MS Excel to provide Graphic and Table formatted report
analysis.
Responsibilit : Application was accomplished using VB 4.0, MS-SQL Server 6.0,

This package was used to maintain the Inventory and Bills of materials for
various items manufactured. Modules are available to produce material
shortage list. It has facilities for printing summary and Detailed stock
statements to be produced to bankers.
The Data tables, relationships, queries and reports for the application were
developed in Access 2.0.
The forms were built as child forms under a common MDI form ensuring integral
user interface.
The data access interface is provided using Data Control DDE connectivity
with Microsoft Excel and representation of graphical analysis through OLE.

details, Supplier Rating and Product Price details.
The Analysis graphs were done using Graph controls.

along with the bills for the selected party.
It updates the outstanding values, adjusted values, Account Transactions and
Ledgers on-line.
This System allows the user to Query the Details about Received Bills, Credit
Notes, Debit Notes and Out Standing Values. Reports were generated to analyze
Received Bills, Outstanding Values, Credits and Debits
The Project includes Analysis like aging and customer wise analysis of
outstanding receivables. This System mainly deals with balance receipts to
be received from customers. It Helps in maintaining the cash inflow into the
company. It also indicates pending receipts.
