Description: Cashedge is a banking software provider and has around 600

clients in US. The project was to build an automation framework for the

regression team using open source tools which could be used across all the

company products with minimal changes and thereby reducing testing effort

drastically.

Responsibility:

. Evaluating different open source tools and deciding on the tools to be

used.

. Designing the framework.

. Discussions and presentations with Senior Engineering for design reviews.

. Building XML schema definitions and XML files having product specific

properties.

. Problem solving selenium issues when run on AJAX and IE.

. Building java programs for the framework.

. Load testing using BrowserMob.

The project involved major enhancements to the product and hence end to end

testing.

. Part of implementation discussions with PMG (Project Management group)

related to the enhancements to the base product.

done in Finacle.

. Discussions with PMG (Product Management Group) related to the

enhancements to the base project and involving with the PMG for preparing

. Identifying the critical scenarios to be tested for the bank and

mentoring the offshore team to prepare test cases based on these

scenarios.

of Finacle product.

. Designed test plans based on the requirements and design.
