manufacturing processes and testing.

. Duties included calculating cycle times of
various manufacturing processes such as
forging, injection molding and centrifugal

. Project was about the implementation of
PeopleSoft ERP system at the University of
Houston system. Issues during implementation
were discussed and how they were addressed by
the in-house development team. The selection
processes of ERP, business processes outlines,
transactions, present problems in the system
were addressed and recommendations were given.
SAP ERP Simulation Game

. Participated in a simulation game as a team
lead to run a business with real-time SAP ECC
system, strategized various business functions
viz. planning, purchasing, production,
inventory control and sales in order to
maximize profit along with a consideration of
the volatile market conditions.
Modeling and Simulation for Chili's Too Restaurant (University
Center at University of Houston) February 2008 - April 2008
. Project considered the rush time, system was understood
through developing a high level flow chart, relevant data
was collected and experimental design was conducted to
generate different alternatives using Arena 10.0. Necessary
recommendations were given to improve service.
Minimization of Transportation Cost for Shark Industries Limited,
Kolhapur, India October 2007 - December 2007
. Project evaluated the transportation cost, an optimal
solution was found to minimize the cost. Carried out
sensitivity analysis and the results were supported by GAMS.
